dont know in youtube and web media why people repeatedly say false information regarding his selling of his house to rajesh khanna it was not at all true that he sold his house because of losses or poverty , I think they deliberately give such false information to get some hits , this is similar to people quoting him as muslim from Pakistan Rajendra kumar is richest actor among all bollywood actors till 1980 until amitab bachhan started investing , Rajendra kumar is very business sense person and he was always cautious about his investments he never been poor after he became top actor and always remained rich until his death he invested his money in various businesses and been active board member of many company's , he sold his bungalow to rajesh khanna not for any money need it was only rajesh khanna who was repeatedly requesting to sell that bungalow to him as it could prove lucky to him as well. By that time Rajendra sold his bungalow he moved to another huge house in Pali hill and that bungalow at carter road was vacant. He sold carter road building to rajesh khanna at a very nominal price of 3 lakhs out of good courtesy as he does not wanted any money. later Rajendra kumar also setup a recording studio in 1975 near to his house in Pali hill which was a very successful and many stars of bollywood used to visit there for their movies premiers and recording works , David Dhawan is one of the person who made his career from that studio. The studio was still maintained by kumar gourav.

He also maintained good friendship with his heroines like meena kumari, sadhana, vyjaynthi mala etc people who closely worked with him always said great about him it was only paid media persons who spread all negative and false information on him because he never encouraged such persons and these same people with malicious intentions never ever allowed him to get recognized as good actor despite he got huge commercial success and been as top actor and been most favorite of common public of 1960s , common people in those days used to closely associate themselves with his on screen characters I found he is the only actor in hindi cinema who could act with his eyes and very expressive. He have a beautiful and cute smile as well. he fully deserve awards for his performances in dil ek mandir , arzoo , gora aur kaala etc , he also did great performance in kanoon. Even in sangam he outperformed raj kapoor.
